Comp skills project, to be done in adobe illustrator. Pick an existing postage stamp, and trace it in illustrator. Then create two other images without tracing (along the same theme) and design them into stamps as if they were part of a set of three.

This is my second stamp. I got a reference image so that I had something to go off of, it was a black and white image of Scorpio and the stars. (from < [link] > ) In this stamp I tried to incorporate the same elements from the original stamp so that the series would make sense. The cirliques, the fade, the tan outline, and the general curviness of the lines are all similar. I chose a different color scheme so that my three stamps would be blue, red, and green.

I am pleased with the way this one turned out also, but it is my least favorite of the three. (I really do enjoy illustrator)
